Explore Bristol's first sustainability & arts hub, Sparks Bristol

Sparks Bristol is an innovative hub of sustainability, creativity and education in the heart of Bristol, co-created by us, Global Goals Centre, and Bristol-based arts charity, Artspace Lifespace. Sparks is a department store with a difference. From fashion and food to nature and energy, each department is designed to support people in Bristol to take easy and money-saving actions on climate, equality and wellbeing, the themes of the global goals.

Immersive storytelling around global issues

The Global Oneness Project offers films, essays and lesson plans telling stories for growing minds.

Creating a sustainable and ethical future for the fashion industry is an important but complex challenge for government, industry and the public. The All Party Parliamentary Group for Ethics and Sustainability in Fashion was created in February 2020 by Catherine West MP and Baroness Young of Hornsey OBE. The group builds on the important work done by previous APPGs and brings together experts and change-makers to explore ways in which government can support building of a more sustainable and ethical fashion industry, both globally and within the UK. The group is currently funded by Hubbub, an environmental charity who run creative campaigns that inspire sustainable ways of living. Hubbub have commissioned Fashion Roundtable to act as Secretariat to the group.

How Can the UK Lead the Way in Sustainable Fashion?

COVID-19 has shone a light on the unsustainable and unethical nature of fashion fashion. Here the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Ethics and Sustainability in Fashion (APPG) outlines how the UK government, industries and citizens can support sustainable fashion.
